Train your core stability in the quadruped position ✔️
▪️The quadruped position is nice because it really exposes missing links in terms of core/torso stability
▪️ It calls on your body's muscle slings which work together to connect the upper body to the lower body via the torso. The anterior oblique sling is being challenged in this position, and it requires good use of it to prevent the body from collapsing or shifting excessively to one side when lifting your limbs
🔹TOP:
🔑Start in a quadruped position (knees under hips, elbows under shoulders). Achieve neutral pelvis and hold this position throughout
🔑 Bring knees 1-2 inches off the ground and hold this position like a plank
🔑 Lift one limb at a time up off the ground. Keep your knees close to the ground the entire time
🔑 Keep the rest of the body stable and try not to shift/tilt excessively to either side while you lift each limb
🔹 BOTTOM:
🔑 More challenging
🔑 Start in same position, but this time lift the opposite arm and leg up at the same time
🔑 Keep down leg close to ground (1-2 inches) and try not to shift/tilt excessively
✔️ This will really challenge your body's ability to stabilize via the core

Vue anatomique de l'arrière de la jambe! A mon sens la partie du corps ma plus négligé. Entre les ischio jambiers et les mollets il y à beaucoup d'oublie

@nassbridges l'as très bien montrer et le répète souvent l'importance du travail de l'ischio!

Pour une bonne santé il faut un équilibre du corps pour ne pas provoqué de blessures à court ou long terme.
