You can have all the motivation in the world, like reading inspirational quotes on instagram 😉, but that really only inspires you for about the 5 second it took you to read it and like it then scroll past it.

1-Always remember you 'Why'!
Ok so you're exercising because you want to lose weight but why?
•
2-Write down your goals.
You are more likely to achieve your goals when you write them down! And put them somewhere you can see them everyday! I'm also going to add telling other people what your goals are!
•
3-Follow a routine.
I tell al my challengers to follow a workout calendar! Find one online or make up one that you can follow. It will help you be more consistent and you won't be guessing what workout you should be doing.
•
4- Do a workout you enjoy!
I hate running, so do I do that for my cardio? NO! Find your soul mate workout! (and don't tell me you don't have one, we all do. You just need to find it!)
•
5-Avoid going to the extremes.
You will get stressed out if you try too much too soon. Know you limits so you don't burn yourself out.
•
6-Don't just rely on the scale.
You're weight fluctuates all day! The scale isn't the most accurate form of measuring your progress IMO. Take before pictures, take measurements, take note on how your clothes fit, or just how you feel in general!
•
7-Create positive affirmations.
Because you are awesome and you deserve to hear those good things about yourself!
•
8-Progress beats perfection.
Nobody is perfect, nobody will be perfect. You're setting yourself up for failure if you are striving for perfection. Focus on your progress, no matter how big or small they may be.

9-Remember, it's not a race.
You aren't in competition with anyone else. Your health and fitness is a journey, and you set your own pace.
