Ce matin c'était apprentissage du cluster (les tout tout premiers de mon expérience de babycrossfiteuse!) avec coach @alexisvsd 🏋️‍♂️ Encore des tonnes de choses à apprendre dans cette discipline, toujours plus de mouvements à découvrir, toujours plus de technique à acquérir! Encore loin de la perfection sur la technique mais petit à petit l'oiseau fait son nid ! Merci @alexisvsd d'être un super coach et de me supporter même quand je râle pendant le wod (en vrai je suis INSUPPORTABLE mais il m'aime quand même donc ça va 😂) 💙

Don’t just be proud when you reach your goal, be proud every step of the way. You worked out when you didn’t want to? Be proud of that. You swapped out a calorie dense meal for something lighter? Be proud of that! You fell off, but vow to keep going? BE PROUD OF THAT! Every choice you make, no matter how small, counts. *** HAPPY 7 MONTHS *** 7 months today, on a Tuesday in April, we started our first Surrey Bootcamp, in Windlesham 🌿

It really has changed my life. It was so scary moving away from friends, work and the big city. 
I ran a wonderful, successful Bootcamp in Wimbledon 4 years ago - but I already had a group of fab, eager people I knew could attend. I didn’t know if it would work here, starting from scratch. I remember thinking I’ll give Bootcamp 1-2 months and if I don’t get more than 4 people I won’t be able to do it🙃

It’s taken off in more ways than I ever could ever have imaged....& I’m so grateful 🙏🏼 I’m so proud of how much each Bootcamper has improved. Doing full press ups, squatting heavier weights, boxing skills, endurance to changes in weight loss and muscle tone. And now most even like running ;) And to all the amazing Kids who attend with their parents 👩‍👩‍👧‍👦💪🏼 And top this all off, we really have become friends. I think we have the perfect balance of fun and hard work in our sessions. Last night we had a drinks gathering at our local pub. A chance to chat and giggle, without having to do burpees 🥂⚖️ A true, fit community & I couldn’t be prouder. To every single person who has attending Fit in the City Bootcamp- Thanks to all x ☺️

Hello hello beautiful people! I've been away from IG a bit to sort life out and focus on other things. I hope you all are well.

Looking through my photos, I start to see a pattern 😅

In the last few months I noticed I can wait few hours to get hungry after I wake up. I tend to get up at 7am but won't eat until 10.30-11am. I can't say I'm doing intermittent fasting willingly, it's more my body who decides when it wants food.

Looking through my photos, I start to see a pattern 😅 In the last few months I noticed I can wait few hours to get hungry after I wake up. I tend to get up at 7am but won't eat until 10.30-11am. I can't say I'm doing intermittent fasting willingly, it's more my body who decides when it wants food. Hence why my breakfasts have become slightly bigger lool. But it gets me going for a good few hours. Dinner isn't a meal I regularly have anymore as my "lunch" is now more around 3 or 4pm. I feel good. I have much less cravings than before and my foot has been pain-free now for about 5 weeks in a row 😃 I'll return to boxing in January and will resume running over my Christmas break at my parents. Where to start... Vol trots heb ik een kijkje mogen nemen bij het nieuwe @kluivertdogrescuecenter 😳 En wauw! Ondanks ik bij elk hondje wilde huilen en ja ook kroelen was ik zo onder de indruk... dat deze mensen (vrijwilligers) zoveel offeren, doen om deze zieltjes niet aan hun lot over te laten. Dat is pas liefde! Nogmaals wauw! @rossanakluivert jouw kracht en wil gaat Curacao hondenleed vrij maken. Ik geloof er in!!!! Wat jij en alle vrijwilligers nu al voor elkaar hebben gekregen en hoeveel zieltjes jullie al hebben kunnen redden... prachtig! Helaas is het nog steeds verre van genoeg dus voor al jullie lieve “mijn” volgers. Kijk even op @kluivertdogrescuecenter en kijk wat ook jij kan doen om deze missie te laten slagen! Er gaan jaarlijks 400.000 Nederlanders naar Curacao dus als we allemaal een klein beetje helpen op wat voorn manier maar ook dan gaat het goed komen. Zoals de puppies die ik hier vasthoud (kijk het filmpje) gevonden bij het grof vuil en het gaat nu gelukkig harstikke goed. Zonder @kluivertdogrescuecenter was dit nooit gelukt!!!! ♥️ Nogmaals: wauw. ⚡What to do if you can’t do a pull up yet⚡

Getting your first pull up is one of the big milestones in strength training.
-
However, it can sometimes feel impossible to get there. -
Many get caught up in only doing assisted pull ups either with a band or an assistance machine and then get completely frustrated when they aren’t making progress.
-
But you know that being able to get a pull up is going to feel freaking badass.
-

There are other ways to train pull ups besides just doing them assisted.
-
1️⃣Pull up negatives - doing these as slow and controlled as possible is going to build the strength you need to do the whole movement.
-
2️⃣Jumping pull ups - It might seem like cheating, but trust me it’s not. Adding a little jump to the pull part of the movement will help you work past that sticking point of getting stuck halfway up.

3️⃣Scap pull ups - One of my absolute favorite exercises for strengthening pull ups! These are a must as they strengthen the shoulder blades which initiate the pulling motion.

4️⃣Seated pull ups - Seated pull ups allow you to work in the same range of motion as a body weight pull up but with the advantage of having your feet on the ground. Just be careful to not turn these into a row!

Lemme tell you it’s been a minute since I could say I’VE WORKED OUT 5 days in a row!!! 5. From the comfort of my own house on my time and not having to coordinate it with 3 kids, childcare hours, drive time, you name it.

I’ve been the gym rat with 2 a days prepping for a show. A session at 5am and 10pm just to get it in before and after my kids went to sleep. That just wasn’t working anymore. 
I did this for balance. I too said “I could NEVER workout at home” and honestly even thought it when I first signed up to be a coach. Here I am. Killin it. Feeling good about myself and working toward MY goals for myself on MY time. 
Plus I don’t feel judged if I want to twerk it out during sets. #priceless

We just finished our Saturday FIT COMMUNITY here in Pasig City Rizal High School together with our happy customers and coaches. We warmed up, we ran 3k and did an exciting game afterwards! It was tiring and sweaty but it was sooooo much FUN! 😍😍😍 And the best part of it is our common goal -- to promote a healthy and active lifestyle thru 20% Exercise and 80% Nutrition!

I think I always knew this, but never connected with it until recently. Life has hills, but then it has valleys that we all walk through and everyone's valleys may look different. Some may seem HUGE while others may seem small, but whatever the size, they aren't easy to get out of. ⠀ ⠀ Whatever it is ⠀ loneliness ⠀ depression ⠀ trauma ⠀ anxiety ⠀ loss ⠀ seclusion Each person has been through (or may be going through) a valley of their own. ⠀ ⠀ Coping through and climbing out of that valley is ONLY possible for me with faith and family. Goodness am I blessed with the BEST family. I truly am. But a void was still present that I couldn’t quite figure out how to fill. I was missing community. I needed a group of women who were right at the place I was. ⠀ ⠀ Most recently, I allowed God's love to crash in on me pull me out of my own fire. He shared with me a community. I had no idea I needed this community, but HE knew. And what a community He found for me. One full of women who share those valleys they have been through so that they themselves can heal and maybe help others to do the same along the way. One that celebrates the victories. One that links arms with those who are struggling to pull them out of those valleys. One that shares their own stories of survival. ⠀ ⠀ As humans, we are all survivors because this world is not perfect. God knows our hearts and what we need to cope. For me, that was community. Because He shared that with me, I feel alive again.

◾Hip Thrusts- 3x5 (HEAVY with 1-2 second hold at top)
◾Deficit Kettlebell Sumo Deadlift
◾Cable Side Squat- 3x15 on each side
◾Abductor- 3x35 (going light and pumping them out)
◾Hyperextensions- 3x20

As a Mom struggling to lose baby weight but not wanting to join your typical gym, Tiffany was invited by a friend to try a free trial at a Burn Boot Camp in Georgia. After 2 weeks of daily camps, she found herself instantly hooked & decided to join as a member. Within a few short months, she was starting to shed those last few stubborn pounds and became a believer. 
Tiffany, a native of Birmingham, has been married for 20 years and is a Mother of 2 (Daughter 13, Son 7). She has a degree in Information Technology but has been involved in Health & Wellness for over 5 years & is currently working on getting certified as a Health Coach. I got sweaty with @powerlifekc today! I love finding new ways to move and new communties to move with. Powerlife changes things up by mixing yoga with weights and adding in bursts of cardio in their power sculpt class, plus the 45 minute express class fits in during the lunch hour. I encourage you to change things up and try new workouts! You may find something that you love even more than what you are doing now. Movement shouldn't be a punshiment, it should be something that you enjoy doing - if it isn't, you have some exploring to do. 
I personally use @classpass to try out new classes all over the city or when I am traveling, which is how I found powerlife. I have also enjoyed spin classes @citygymkc, barre classes at @barre3kansascity and yoga classes all over Kansas City using class pass. Check it out if you are wanting to find new classes, but don't want to commit to a studio for an entire month. Link in my bio for $40 savings!
