Started off Saturday morning with a VERY sweaty workout at @madasheville before running to the grocery for the week. I swear every time I workout there I feel like a real athlete all over again 😂 Felt GOOD! Obviously came home famished & ready to refuel in 0.22 seconds, so resorted to my old standby 👆🏼This meal never gets old, I’m telling ya!. . 2 scrambled pasture-raised @vitalfarms eggs, leftover roasted veggies, fresh organic berries, & 1/2 avocado that isn’t pictured. . Was running low on zucchini this morning, so improvised and tried something new 👩🏼‍🍳 and I'm glad I did because because this bowl was a dream ❤️ . Carrot Cake Biscoff Oatmeal 🥕 50g quick cook oats 60g grated zucchini 60g grated carrot 1 tsp coconut flour 1 scoop of whey (I used @myprotein impact whey speculoos flavour) . Caramel berry protein blondies 🍓🍯🍰 Apologies for being so slack on my posts as of late! This is a recipe I just made up on the spot last week and I’m really happy with how it turned out! Serves: 9 Calories: 210 per serve Macronutrient breakdown: F5/C31/P11.7 ✖️ Ingredients: 1 cup oats 1/2 cup buckwheat 1/2 cup @bioflexnutrition biolife salted caramel protein 1 tbsp arrowroot flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 cup coconut sugar Soda water 3 eggs 2 tbsp nutlex 1/4 cup frozen raspberries 1/4 cup frozen blueberries ✖️ Method: Blitz oats and buckwheat in a blender until they form a flour. Combine flour with all other ingredients except soda water. Add soda water last bit by bit until reached desired texture. Cook at 200 degrees for 30 mins or until golden brown. I don’t workout every day, I don’t eat calculated meal preps everyday, and I definitely don’t do cardio everyday. Truthfully, I haven’t done any of it in 3 days because work has been long, tough, and strenuous. The point is....Fitness should be a lifestyle, it shouldn’t be a chore. If you want to skip the gym to play video games, see a movie, or just rest, you should. If you want to eat a burger, a slice of pizza or a deli sandwich with your friends, you should. You should be able to do these things without regrets. A lot of us work to hard not to enjoy some of the simple things in life. It’s about finding balance. Staying disciplined most of the week, and letting loose at the end of the week. Stop trying to be someone or something else, focus on being the best version of yourself and you’ll get to where you want to be. I’m no saint by any means and sometimes I don’t follow what I preach. Which is why I surround myself with like minded people in my personal life and on social media. We all can use some outside inspiration from time to time. #Realworldfitness

I am 36 weeks and most days i feel good about myself, i am thankful for my body, my health and my pregnancy but then there are days where i feel flat and blah, there are days when i don't feel like myself, I've gained weight and even though it's healthy and normal, it doesn't always feel comfortable or my wardrobe is limited and some days it takes forever to find an outfit i feel ok in. My point is no matter what size you are, no matter what weight you are, there are going to be days where you will feel flat and blah and it's normal and okay and everyone has those days. So the next time you feel blah, flat and not your best put on some comfy, baggy clothes, focus your energy on doing something that makes you feel good - dance, watch a funny movie, call your funny friend etc and be kind to yourself, this feeling will pass. When out to eat.... Drink 2 glasses of water well before dinner...fills ya up! Order an entree full of veggies. Honestly, I go for salads almost every single time and add fish or a veggie burger. Why? Because I can control the calories better (dressing on the side) Most entrees are full of extra calories and fat because of sauces, butter, etc plus a lot of sodium. You just never know what things are cooked in, with a salad it’s pretty straight forward.
