Here's the thing about that graffiti you see clogging up the walls, alerting you to the area's you should supposedly stay away from.

On this one wall you see life. You see the one that started the fight, because they are so unhappy with their own life that they live to cause drama, but pretend they had nothing to do with it. Weakness in character.

You have the one that sits back and waits anxiously for it to be over, because they are to weak to stand up and do what needs to be done to find a solution to end the commotion. Even weaker in y opinion.

Then you have those that are involved in the altercation, and may it be because they are a hot head that wants to have the last word irrespective of whether they are in the wrong,
or have legitimately been wronged themselves...
They enter into a fight.
A war of words or a war fists it's really all the same.

And without intelligent intervention or a intelligent thought process from either warrior,
that aims to find solutions rather than declaring war
as it's some sort of glorious event to enter into
and such an achievement to make it out of... Such is history and the world today.
So look properly before you turn the car around. You may learn something. 🔥🔥 #lifelessons #philosophy

The first execution in Auschwitz - part 1
Follow our posts today to learn more about it!
----
The very first execution in the history of Auschwitz concentration camp took place. 40 Polish people were sent to the camp by the police in Katowice. They were being referred to as 'criminals' in the German documents. In fact, they were to be executed as punishement for the growing resistance movement in Katowice.

The prisoners of Auschwitz had to return to the camp by 11 o'clock in the morning. They had rumours about the upcoming execution but they did not see it. They had to stay inside the blocks when the execution was taking place. The prisoners were given their dinner in the meantime (to prevent them from seeing anything). The execution was to take place by the building of the slaughterhouse close to Auschwitz I.
In the picture you can see a drawing by former Auschwitz prisoner Jan Komski - A Photo for the Album. It shows an execution taking place in the gravel pits by Auschwitz. None of the gravel pits were commemorated.

The picture is the courtesy of Jan Komski.

The History of Africa, like the history of humankind as a whole, is really the story of an awakening.

We need thorough understanding of the past to understand the present and prepare for a better future. This is why, since 1964, @UNESCO has been working to shift the context of the History of Africa, freeing it from racial prejudices & promoting an African perspective. Africa’s history told by Africans themselves.

And this is how UNESCO's General History of Africa initiative was born. The result is a unique 8 volumes work. It was the first of its kind to present the entire history of the African continent. And it contributes as well to one key target: passing the values of the #HistoryofAfrica to the #AfricanYouth, priority for UNESCO

This is why, since 1964, @UNESCO has been working to shift the context of the History of Africa, freeing it from racial prejudices & promoting an African perspective. And this is how UNESCO's General History of Africa initiative was born. The result is a unique 8 volumes work. It was the first of its kind to present the entire history of the African continent.
