300lbs x 1 conventional 
260lbs x 2 squat
BW probably thiccc from vacation so I decided to put it to use by making sure I could still pull 300 conventional and squat heavy doubles.
I weighed 107.5lbs when I left Sunday - I am going to wait a few days to check my weight LOL🤣🤦‍♀️ As long as we are still under 110lbs I will be in good shape to make it back to 47kg in a couple months😈

Most of the time I don’t use cardio during cuts. Personally, I’d rather do a longer cut and use the extra hour to focus on things like school, learning new things, and working. I’m really in the mood to kill these last 5lbs thought so I’m going to be including cardio again every day.

When including cardio, low intensity steady state is the best option to avoid soreness, fatigue and decreased strength gains. I love to use the stepper. No hands allowed ;)

Squatted heavy yesterday, decided today I’d do some cardio.

Try this awesome curl variation.  Great for hitting lots of different angles and creating a good bicep peak and cut.  Make sure to move the weight slowly and controlled to get time under tension. 💪🏻

2 Birds - 1 Stone My Aim Is Amazing. Losing weight and getting strong is something I’m taking advantage of. Not sure how long it’s going to last before I start losing strength but that something I’m not focused on right now. Finally getting back to heavy back squats to kick off this push day. I figured since I got my 315 front squat, its about time to get to work on that 405 back squat. I'm loving how much of a difference I can already feel in my strength and energy now that I'm not eating in a deficit, its only up from here 💪

Now some of these reps are a little more shallow than they should be, but I managed to hit better depth at the end of this set. This was the final working set with two rest pauses around 20 seconds each, cut out to fit the gram of course. Its nice to get back under some good weight, but I know I've still got plenty of room to improve.

Three days post comp update: 
Struggling. Immediately after comp I did great, along with the next day. Today the stress and anxiety of Jax’s upcoming surgery hit me in waves of nausea, not eating, and binge eating. Did I stray off of my macros? Goodness yes. But I had to put myself in check after becoming super disappointed in myself. My body and emotions are under severe stress and anxiety. It’s okay to skip up. Just don’t use it as an excuse to continue doing so. Just like so many exercises on leg day, just stand right back up when something heavy weighs you down.

Notice on the kickbacks (straight and diagonal), my left leg does better because the problem #sacroiliac joint (SI) is on the right side. See at the end, I tried to do a bridge, but it still hurts. But I was able to lift my bum off the floor, which I couldn't do 4 weeks ago without devastating SI pain -- progress! Not shown: bicycle #cardio, hip abductor machine and more stretching. @trainergirl30 -

Folding over in the squat is a common technical error I see often. Essentially the lifter goes down to the bottom of the squat with good form, but then during the concentric or upward portion, their chest collapses down, and the hips shoot up.

During the upward portion of the squat, your quadriceps muscles work to extend the knee joint, while your hamstrings and glutes work synergistically to extend the hips. When there’s coordination and balance of strength, the angle of the chest remains the same and the hips rise simultaneously.

Three reasons why you look like a stripper when you squat:
1. Over reliance on one muscle group: for some it’s the quads, for some it’s the hamstrings. In order to figure out which one it is, pay attention to the angles at the hip and at the knee. If the knees extend faster than the hips you’ll most likely be stuck above parallel in almost a good morning position, that means your quads are overpowering and you need to add extra work for your posterior chain. If the hips extend faster and you end up folded at the bottom of the squat, your quads need some extra love.
2. Lack of motor control or coordination between the two: faulty movement patterns that have been ingrained over time, or simply the inability of both hamstrings, glutes and quads to work together to achieve the task.
3. Inability of the back extensors to maintain an upright torso

Additional suggestions: besides working on improving the strength ratio between the muscles in the front and back of your body, adding pin squats, pause squats and zercher squats to improve the timing, pattern and coordination of the movement might be beneficial.

Sets of 8 for squats and deadlifts today 🤢 Kind of took it easy with squats because of my back but managed a respectable beltless top set of 8x165 @ RPE 8.
