Today i did not feel good.
So drawing is always good to stop the negative thinking from over coming my life.😶
I am highly addicted to weed, to sort a point where i feel depressiv af without it.
So im now 4 days sober and i feel like absolute humanshit.😓

Etre en pleine forme, c'est se sentir comme se sentent les enfants. Ils débordent d'énergie chaque jour. Leur corps est léger et souple; ils bougent sans effort. Leur démarche est aérienne. Leur esprit est clair; ils sont heureux, sereins et détendus. Ils dorment profondément et paisiblement chaque nuit, et ils sont frais et dispo au réveil, comme si leur corps était tout neuf. Ils sont passionnés et excités de vivre une nouvelle journée. Observez les enfants et vous verrez ce que signifie réellement etre en pleine forme. C'est ainsi que vous vous sentiez autrefois, et c'est ainsi que vous devriez encore vous sentir aujourd'hui.

Before you hop into bed tonight have you tried the pillow test? ☁️ Fold your pillow in half, then let go. If the pillow springs back, it’s in good shape. If it just lays there bent like a soggy potato chip, get rid of it. It’s not worthy of supporting your head and neck adequately while you sleep. ➡️ more on this via the link in our bio.

Baby Loss Awareness Week is held annually from 9 to 15 October
A collaboration between more than 60 charities across the UK, Baby Loss Awareness Week aims to raise awareness about the key issues affecting those who have experienced pregnancy or baby loss in the UK.

Throughout the week bereaved parents, their families and friends, unite with each other and others across the world to commemorate the lives of babies who died during pregnancy, at or soon after birth and in infancy.

I lost a pregnancy. It was always one of those things I thought would happen to other people. At my 12 week scan we were so excited to see our baby. The screen was blank and as the sonographer went to get someone for a second opinion, we knew. 
I apologised for crying, I couldn't stop. I was crying for the future which I'd planned meticulously... maternity leave dates, names etc. 
It was a missed miscarriage, no bleeding, the heartbeat stopped at 9 weeks but because there was no loss my tummy continued to grow, my breasts swelled. I chose to take a tablet, I passed our baby at home and had to go to the hospital for them to check everything was gone which was painful physically and emotionally. I heard new born babies crying and thought my heart would break. Nearly 5 years on and with 2 healthy children I still think of the baby I lost ❤

Much has been said about the changing of seasons and how it relates to our life.

One of my favorites is how fall teaches us to shed things we no longer need--in order to make room for new growth.

Sometimes we focus so much on the shedding we forget about the growing.

Each step is so important. Each requires our intention. Our effort. Our hard work.

Shedding and growing also require help from outside sources (sun, water, soil). Even nature needs support.

Some thoughts on World Mental Health Day.

We ALL have mental health. In the same way that we all have PHYSICAL health. Sometimes our physical health is BAD, we have a cold or the flu or food poisoning. Some might have a more permanent or lasting illness or condition. Sometimes our mental health is BAD, we have difficulty being sociable or a depressive episode. Some might have a more permanent or lasting illness or condition. It’s pretty straightforward. I’ve heard people say “he’s got mental health” when what they mean is “that person is struggling with their mental health”. And let’s call it what it is - Depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, borderline personality disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, complex post-traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia and so on and so on and so forth, these are mental ILLNESSES. AND THAT’S OK. There’s such a stigma around them still that we even shy away from calling them illnesses because, well why? Because illness supposedly makes you weaker? Because it’s undesirable to be “ill” and better to be “healthy”? Mental illness is NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF. .
Mental illness, just like physical illness, can be eased and managed with medication and therapies. It means you’ll have good days and bad days, just like you would with any other ailment. It means it’s ok to give yourself permission to curl up under a duvet and sleep the way you would if you had a cold. THERE IS NO SHAME IN HAVING A MENTAL ILLNESS. .
For those living with mental illness, having a #WorldMentalHealthDay can seem...trite. Especially in a world where “mental health and well-being” has been packaged, wrapped in a bow and sold to us under the guise of retreats, yoga classes, scented candles and bath bombs. But it’s still SO important to have an awareness day like this because literally ANYONE can suffer from poor mental health or develop a mental illness (what’s the statistic? 1 in 4?) and without better understanding or being stigmatised for it, everyone suffers.

Thank you to the Facebook Group "Brain Pain Sisterhood & Giggles" for having me be a part of their group and Facebook live discussions on chronic pain and mental health. I was honored to be speaking with a group of strong and phenomenal women. The group is for individuals with with Chari Malformation, Idiopathic Intercranial Hypertension, and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. It’s a small and intimate group, that provides a safe space to vent and to get support for people with debilitating chronic pain. They believe laughter is an amazing medicine, so we laugh together, they cry together, they celebrate together and they mourn the friends who didn’t make it together. They are a real support group. We wake up every morning and based on how we view the day is how the day will go. I roll out of bed and think, “ugh today is going to suck!” I will find every possible thing that day that makes me validate that yes indeed the day sucks! BUT if I wake up with a positive thought and remind myself “the day is what you make of it so let’s make it a positive one” I will have a positive day! I've posted a lot of things lately, about how awesome life is. Most of the time, that's an accurate representation of how I've felt. Things have been feeling pretty positive. Way more than they had been just over a year ago.

But there are cracks in the life I have.

I work out ALL of the time. Being fitter is a defining characteristic of mine. I want to be stronger, faster, better. I put a lot of effort into it. I don't have

#depression . . I've posted a lot of things lately, about how awesome life is. Most of the time, that's an accurate representation of how I've felt. Things have been feeling pretty positive. Way more than they had been just over a year ago. . . But there are cracks in the life I have. . . I work out ALL of the time. Being fitter is a defining characteristic of mine. I want to be stronger, faster, better. I put a lot of effort into it. I don't have "cheat days", I don't skip hard workouts. I do things that are uncomfortable, so that I can be better. . . It doesn't matter. . . I spent years being dismissed by peers at my old gym. I was the obnoxious overweight guy that could get a win or two, but nobody took very seriously. I never said anything, but I always knew that was how folks thought of me there. . . It hurt. . . So, when they had a big reunion competition last month, I thought things would be different. Things were not different. Nobody took me seriously, and the team of folks that everyone thought would beat me, did. This despite recruiting some very fit guys to team up with. I held them back, and we lost. . . I could give a lot more examples of this very same scenario playing out in almost every area of my life. I'm mediocre at most things I do in life: . * being a father * being a significant other * writing software * playing guitar * literally anything else I've tried to be good at. . . Today, I bombed the shit out of a workout. And when it all went to hell, all of the cracks in everything I'm trying to keep together, all fell apart. The workout failure was the surface of a ball of pain I have to feel. I have a ton of realities to face, which I've avoided for a long time now. . . If you've read this far, know this - I'm not looking for your sympathy. PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT NICE THINGS BELOW. It's common for us to try to alleviate people's pain by undermining the reality of it. It doesn't change how someone feels. It just tells them they shouldn't feel that way.

Who ready for some #REALTALK? OK, so rewind a few years. I used to be a social butterfly. There was not a party that I would miss, and every party I went to, I was known as the “life of the party”. I loved drinking and I would always be the most intoxicated, which made me “fun” 😐.
.
.
Let’s fast forward to now. I don’t drink, I don’t go out (except for the 200 concerts I attend every year) and some days I struggle to leave the four walls of my bedroom. Everybody meet: SOCIAL ANXIETY! .
.
Why am I sharing this story with you? Because I want you to know that you’re not alone.
.
.
WHO HAVE I BECOME?. .
1️⃣. I worry about people’s reactions. 
2️⃣. I feel paranoid, judged, and insecure about everything I say and do in social situations. 
3️⃣. I avoid social situations.
4️⃣. I dwell on awkward moments.
.
.
That was hard to even type! But I want to share a few ways of trying to overcome these crippling feelings!

🧠. SHARE!! Hiding or suppressing anxiety actually produces more anxiety. The most useful step is to share your experience with friends and family, or even talk about them online.
🧠. BREATHE!! Your body is powerful. Learning the warning signs of when your anxiety flares up is important to help you take action. Try some breathing exercises..
🧠. FACE YOUR FEARS!! Avoiding social situations, yes will make you feel better at that particular moment, but this is only a short term solution (eek). Remember, saying no will give you the same result each time. Saying yes, however frightening, means you’re taking a chance and living your life.
🧠. STOP TRYING TO BE PERFECT!! It’s easy to forget that no one is perfect when we live in a world that aspires to achieve perfection. It’s also easy to forget that not everyone will like us nor does everyone need to. Ask yourself do YOU like everyone? It’s also often forgotten that it’s okay to make mistakes as it makes.
🧠. FIND YOUR SAFE PERSON!! I find that having my sister with me makes it easier for me to face scary situations. Take baby steps with this person.
