I’m baaaack Perth! 😝
After two weeks off tracking macros and eating everything in sight I’m so ready to get back into routine and start crushing some new goals 👊🏼
You don’t have to go OTT when you go on holidays, but you do want to relax and enjoy the moment and family/friends. 
For me training while away is fun! Especially when I visit Ireland! My family are very active my mum is a super crossfitter 🏋🏽‍♀️ so out of the 14 days I was in Ireland I probably trained 6 times with my mum, and went on hikes, and long walks! 
My eating... wasn’t on point 😂 but for me that’s part of enjoying my holiday! I don’t have any major short term goals such as competing etc so I can enjoy that little bit more YOLO eating while away and not feel once ounce of guilt! 
I had the best time! But now.... back to the gym for me and getting ready to set some new goals with coachie @aliround
Ps soo excited for my @fys_activewear to arrive! Nothing makes you motivated to train like new gym wear 💪🏻👏🏼💃🏻

‼️Prep update‼️ I’ve finally reached that point in prep where I feel tired and moody and grumpy and overwhelmed and I just want to quit. And I start questioning why I’m doing this. I’m writing this 11 days before going to nationals... and I’m doing it now because I know that after the show, all my posts are going to be about how awesome this experience was and how proud and how amazing everything is.... but right now it is NOT. .
Preparing for a show it’s not easy, it’s is a freaking roaller coaster, it is taking your body to the extreme, it’s spending countless hours doing cardio and lifting weights, it’s sacrifice, it’s saying NO to your favorite things, it’s missing out on vacation and parties and family events and life in general, it’s exhausting and draining.... and it can get ugly, AND most competitors will only show you the bright side, the trophy’s, the smiles, the shreds and the celebrations! .
Then why do it? That doesn’t seem like fun, Well, one of the reasons I do it is because setting a challenging goal and doing all the work to reach that goal makes me feel alive,  makes me feel like I am accomplishing something most people won’t. It’s not about the looks, it’s about ME knowing what it takes to get there! I don’t want to be told what it feels like, I want to know for myself... It’s about soaking up experiences and emotions. Things that I will remember for the rest of my life... and also, I’ve said it before, I won’t always have the time, the energy and the passion for it. .
Another reason why I choose to go through all of this madness is because when it’s all done, I really get to appreciate the little things in life, I get to really taste food and enjoy every bite, I appreciate my time with friends and family, I appreciate spending time outside of the gym, everything is much more enjoyable! All the things that we usually take for granted! .

Yes, the process is brutal and difficult and at times seems impossible and you feel like you’re not going to make it in one piece... but the rewards are so absolutely amazing! (Continue in the comments section....)

Stop overthinking, just do what you need to to be happy. Don’t worry about your surroundings, who’s there, going to the gym and feeling self conscious. Just do what it takes to be happy, because if you’re not fully happy then do what it takes. .

The biggest mistake I see when people use this machine is bringing their arms too far back. It takes extreme focus to target the posterior head of the delt. I’d recommend going light, focusing on stretching and squeezing the muscle, not letting the traps dominate the movement. -

Glad to make it through today unscathed with @harrieto93 sprinting for 5th and @jesscerra moving into 9th GC! Rainy parking lot crit day is done and dusted, next and final day is a circuit in downtown Denver tomorrow! We start at 10am and @eltonybaca is racing the open crit at 3pm...then we eat all the tacos 🌮

Engaging your core in different variations of exercises especially with kettlebells will help you build a well balanced overall body strength. Good weight to use for this kettlebell flow can be from 16kg to 24kg.
