I don’t have a picture of the board today but I got up early for my alpha metcon workout today. Getting out of bed seems to be much harder with the cold. But getting it done regardless. 
Today consisted of bent over rows, bikes, squats, battle ropes, step ups, planks and more. Happy hour is done. How is your morning? .

If I put it in my own pan does it look like I made this beautiful chicken?  Lol

This is my version of fast food.  Pick up a chicken and pop it in the over on broil for a few minutes before eatting to get that skin nice and crispy!

I also tried making a whole chicken in my #instantpot this week and was pleasantly surprised!  Season and put in the pot for 6 minutes per lb (according to pinterest) with a cup of water and a natural release.  Then I broiled it and it was just as good as this rotisserie chicken!

🥗 The 80/20 Rule Explained 🍔 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The rule?- It simply states that you should eat healthy, whole foods 80% of the time and allow yourself to eat fun foods 20% of the time!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In essence, plenty of fruits, veg, lean protein and nutrient-dense foods should make up the main bulk of your diet whilst the odd bit of pizza, burger or ice cream is still not out of reach! You can be flexible with your dieting using this rule!

To summarise the rule as to why it’s a positive approach- being flexible and unrestrictive stops any potential cravings compared to if you were to cut out a certain food or group completely! Man... we are hitting the road this morning and Lordy has it been a morning. Started around 2am when chase alerted me of fraudulent activity on my card. Somebody was trying to get themselves some nice new kicks from Nike lol ($400). So they cancelled my card. We have done such a stellar job installing Nolan’s car seat that we were unable to uninstall his seat so, we spent a good 30 minutes fighting with it to get it out and reinstall in the rental car. Got down the road and realized I forgot my wedding rings 🤦🏻‍♀️
So I’m now ring-less and debit card-less. Here’s to 20 hours in the car! lol

I’ve always been an active person, I’ve always been the sports girl...basketball, softball, volleyball, horses, 🏀⚾️🏐🐴I’ve got that competitive spirit in my blood, and it extends into every aspect of my life. I’ll try anything once - give it a good honest go, then I make the decision for myself if I want to continue that thing.

I also am a foodie. 🌮🍔🥙🥓🍳🍕Love food, love to chew it, love to graze, mindless eating out of boredom. If you put appetizers out, I will eat whether I am hungry or not. I’m half basque and we also love to cook, which makes eating so much better.

But, when my company pulls out a challenge like they did, the competitive nature comes out and I’m all in...14 days- no prob. I can do anything for 14 days. So a week ago I started drinking our new meal replacement shakes everyday. I was pleasantly surprised that a)I liked them (I’ve never found a shake I really “enjoy” especially without putting all kinds of goodness into it) and b) it held me over until my next meal. Usually an hour later I’m heading to the fridge looking for a snack. 
You guys.....I am blown away at my results in just one week. I drink this frosty goodness for breakfast and am fully satisfied until lunch. It’s that amazing. Plus, look at my results. In just a week 😱😱 I think I’ll stick to this plan of mine. Bring on the holidays. I’ll be losing instead of gaining. No worries about what to cook, no dishes, no mess, no brainer.

Oh yeah, and they’re giving away $10,000.00...there’s that too.

Já falei que sou a rainha da reciclagem de comida né? Acho que desenvolvi essa “técnica” por não gostar muito de comer a mesma comida dois dias seguidos (na real até como, mas de forma diferente) e principalmente pq ODEIO colocar comida fora.. então vou fazendo uma releitura da leitura da leitura.. ahhahaha

Fiz essa tortinha com o mesmo recheio da abobrinha de ontem. A massa dela é praticamente ovos e farinha de aveia (mas claro que coloquei uma cenoura junto 😂). A receita “verdadeira” é com frango, mas adaptei e fiz com o recheio que eu tinha! 🤗 (a culinária é linda né?! Linda e LIVRE pra criatividade 😍). Um dia gravo a receita aqui pra vcs.. pq essa tortinha é muuuito boa pra ser só minha! Hahahah 😜 .

Setting intentions in the morning is really quite powerful. I have been trying to get my hands on these chart papers for a really long time. I finally got them and it’s almost like I got lost in my vision last night. I am so excited for 2019 and I will not let fear, grief, or depression bind me up the way it has the last 3 years. I struggled for a long time with seasonal depression and sometimes it is so tempting to flirt with it again. When it lulls me...I must choose to rise up and fight. There has been so much going on with me physically that one could say I would have a reason to be sad about it. I will choose to have joy and allow God to be my strength in this time of weakness. Happy Thursday loves. 👑✨

Dazu gefühlt ein Pfund Zwiebel und Essig🥒. Und wenn er dann immer noch nicht satt ist, würd ich mal nachschauen lassen, ob der Bauch ein Loch 🕳 hat. 🤷🏼‍♀️

It's been a long road emotionally, physically and mentally; with tons of peaks, valleys but with a never wavering resolution that there is no way back. We each have our individual reasons that lead us to this road and years out, some of us are only just realizing\accepting that the struggle may continue indefinitely. Those that have succeeded to move past every bump on their road with fervid determination are an inspiration and aspiration to us all, allow their stories to do just that. Do not reduce yourself to the idea of failure; because it never that simple. I believe it is not how many times we falter, but about how many fucking times we push back up and will ourselves to rise. Let your fear of what was fuel that fire in your gut and transform it into a roar of determination; free your beast within, feed it sweat, fear and tears and let it lead you forward every fucking step of this arduous road, one push at a time. 
Be a fucking warrior that wears their imperfections and truth like an armor, who doesn't allow anybody the power to make them feel anything other than the fucking master of their own story and narrative.  Remember our roads might not be the same, our beasts to slay may be different, but the finish line waits us all; we may be many different things, but alone is not one of them. 🖤
