Prep Co Mediterranean vegetable cous cous (4 syns). Apparently it had 1 of your 5 a day as there were big chunks of courgette and pepper in there. I'm guessing the syns must be oil which is a shame. Really easy for desk lunch though, but would probably get a lower syn favour next time.
M&S supergreen salad (6 syns but I only had half the dressing because I thought that was extortionate synning! So 3 for me)

New beginnings today. I’ve struggled my whole life with my weight and know what it feels like to reach my goals. Now I’m back to being 8lbs from my heaviest, no energy and uncomfortable in my skin even in baggy 2XL t shirts. Havent posted in awhile cause i slipped off the wagon, 1 cheat day turned into 3.5 which caused some weight gain. I place a lot of importance on the number on the scale so when i saw some weight gain my thought process was "well go ahead and make it worse cause you already messed up" and therefore a little weight gain became a lot. So i went from 269lbs - 275lbs - and im now back down to 272lbs and working hard. I dont want to change my stats in my bio because in a day or two i will be there or lower. Im not giving up even if i slip up and fail. Weightloss is difficult when you have to make a new relationship with food, but its not impossible. This is a long journey and i will never stop trying for the rest of my life. Bought 2 packets of pre sliced melon yesterday along with my CATFISHED fruit platter and I didn’t check the date on the melon.. assumed I was alright for couple of days... no... go to eat today to realise they went off yesterday... • SOME TRANSPARENCY •

I’m not doing keto at the moment and I don’t have any plans for a reset for the time being. I felt like a was in a cycle of punishment every time I’d reset. 
People do keto in different ways — how I started was the “high fat low carb ingredients matter” way and I successfully lost 30 lbs in about 3 months. Yay! 
And I’ve kept it off with minimal fluctuation despite Yo-Yo-ing back and forth between the standard American diet and the keto diet.

But what hasn’t been the same for me going back and forth is inflammation, my sleep, and my mental health. 
So I’m taking a break and I’m only doing “minimal grains” which I’m defining for myself as I go and I’m going to the gym. 
I’m still cooking meals I learned because of the keto movement and using spaghetti squash in place of noodles because it tastes better and makes me feel better.

What I’m not doing is living in guilt going back and forth and back and forth trying to meet “keto standards” — this is my individual health journey and so, take it or leave it but I owe y’all some transparency on what to accredit my results to in the future. 
I’ll probably be changing my username while utilizing keto hashtags when meals meet keto standards — but again, I’m on my own individual journey. Minimal grains, working out, all the fruit I want && ZERO guilt. #transparencytuesday #tuesday #weightloss #weightlossjourney #health

Huuuge tea tonight of salad with chips and cheese. Starving. My event down in Oxford was good but I did have some sandwiches for lunch and a bit of the sweet stuff. I also ended up eating chocolate too. So chances are I'm gaining at weigh in tomorrow which is disappointing. However, I am regrouping and cracking on. I didn't take my planner with me because didn't want to carry too much. Definitely not making the most of my planner  so that needs to change right now. Instead of catching up on other stuff I'm focussing on planning my meals and getting food ready for tomorrow because next week I WILL lose weight.

So i made quorn nuggets 0.5 syns each, mayflower southern gravy 3.5 syns and slimming world chips with 40g of cheese HexA. There is no speed food but It is on plan so that's a win!! One week in and I am down 5lbs already thanks to @gymologyuk and cardio training. To say I am chuffed with first week weigh ins is an understatement. Here’s to the next 3 weeks and the results if I can achieve that every week I will be laughing my way to that bikini in Bali in May. #abendessen Bei uns gab es heute selbstgemachte Wraps😁 Für mich habe ich die "Low Carb" Version gemacht, also 250 gr Magerquark, 200 gr Reibekäse light, 2 Eier und etwas Salz miteinander vermischt, auf einem Backblech verteilt und bei 180 Grad 20 min gebacken😊 Das Ergebnis war besser als gedacht. Für meinen Freund habe ich den klassischen Wrapteig gemacht. Salt & pepper chicken, egg fried rice and chips! My friend was round for tea so was a perfect sharing tea I totally over cooked loads of rice and chicken left so it’s my tea tomorrow! 
25g of blue dragon panko bread crumbs for 3.5 Syns I used 50g so 7 Syns for it all but we shared and there’s easily another portion left so I’ll count 3.5 Syns to be safe! 😅

I used to get discouraged about how far I had to go, and it seemed like I was reminded of it every day, sometimes every hour. I carried a constant sense of failure, a feeling that I just wasn't who I needed to be, I wasn't doing enough and I needed to try harder. Yet, when I did try harder, I only failed again. I've now adopted a new attitude: "I'm not where I need to be, but thank God I'm not where I used to be. I'm OK, and I'm on my way!" We may not know the way, and we may stumble from time to time, but God is faithful. He sees your progress, He's proud of you, and He's going to help you stay on the right path!" A whooooole lot! But I think it's safe to say that the growth you experience from age 21-31 is pivotal for anyone.

Immediately, what everyone will see when looking at these pictures is the obvious change in my weight. And while yes, I am smaller today, I could easily say something like,

And while yes, I am smaller today, I could easily say something like, "vegetarian on the left, plant based on the right" but that's not the entire story that should be depicted. . What these pictures don't show are the inner changes and continuous self improvements I've made to my mental and spiritual well being. Ultimately, over time these physically manifest. . 👉 Identity drives behavior: Everyday I wake up and believe I am strong, healthy and happy. 👉I show my body love and appreciation with the foods I choose to eat and the exercises I choose to do. 👉I have a holistic approach on life and believe we all have the power within us to be exactly who we choose to be. .
